Last month’s London Marathon was a great success for Prime Energy with all the runners Barry Grinham advised this year finishing and raising in excess of £42,000 for various charities. Well done to everyone! Within 48 hours of this year’s event finishing we were already receiving emails from our runners asking how they enter the New York or Chicago marathons!

One of “our” runners was Richard Rosser, editor of B4 Magazine, who raised over £3000 for CLIC Sargent by completing the 26 mile race. Richard said: “Special thanks to Barry for not only giving me the benefit of his wisdom and experience during my training but also getting me the place in the Marathon in the first place.”

Spring is well and truly here, and when I’m training outside the smell of the ground warming up and the first scents from the trees is fantastic!

I often get my personal training clients to stop for a mo and take a large deep breath so they begin to appreciate the great outdoors. Their reply is that it doesn’t smell that way in the sweaty gym, no matter how posh it is or how much dosh I have extracted from them! So why not join them and sign up for some PT with yours truly?

Thursday is Ladies Day and we have a brand new class starting this month – The New Bikini Workout! Just booked your summer holiday but worried about baring all on the beach? Come along for a fun, friendly and FABULOUS workout that will attack all those wobbly bits and give you a beach body to be proud of!

 Saturdays @ Gosford, 9am-10am

Come along to our total body conditioning programme that’s 50% aerobic and 50% strength-focused. It’s the only one of its kind in the region!

The Team @ Prime Energy Fitness Ltd have just returned from another successful Ski Tour to Val D’Isere (well, by team I mean Barry and a select group of class members and personal training clients, whilst Richard and I held everything together back in the office!).

The ski tour is an annual trip where all the hard work during classes and training sessions pays off, with a mix of beginners and experienced skiers enjoying some of the finest routes in Europe.

If you have ever wandered out of Starbucks or Costa in Summertown, you may have noticed our infamous mobile notice board (AKA camp bike) locked up with flower displays, flyers and information on our upcoming camps. Unfortunately, when we went to bring the bike into our lock up before Christmas, it had disappeared! We have contacted the Council to see if they have removed it, but no luck.

If you have any idea where it may have gone to, seen it on Ebay or are able to help in finding it we would really appreciate it!
