WOW! Where have the first 6 months of the year gone?? I’ve seen some great changes in Prime Energy Fitness’ clients’ fitness and lifestyle in this first six months, leading to them getting massive accolades from their peers regarding their progress, especially weight loss. Often people come up to me in the class or street to say how amazed they are of someone’s progress. My reply is always … thanks for telling me, BUT how much better would it be if you told them? It makes the recipient feel so good … and me too.
So now the longest day (June 21st) has passed and winter is upon us … NOooooooo! I can hear you screaming. It’s time to think about “vacation training” – getting in shape for next year’s holiday – or for sporting events that may still be months ahead. My head goes into training now for the Great North Run in September. It’s a fantastic time of the year to train in Oxford, and I’m loving taking runs around the University parks, and at Blenheim and the surrounding countryside. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep. It’s just fantastic to train outdoors. Even our classes have been outside recently. If the sun’s out, we’re out. It’s a shame more trainers don’t follow suit – and just shows that we know what we’re doing!
