Post Holiday Health Tip

waterHave you been away from home for a few days over the summer months? It might not occur to you that the water in the pipes has been lying dormant while you’ve been away – and depending on its position it might have been constantly changing temperature, warming up and cooling down as night turns to day turns to night. And stale water is not nice to drink, and not good for your health either!

Here’s my top tip: Let the tap run for a minute or two to get to the fresh water before making a drink.

Okay, I can hear all the “greens” screaming “Noooooooo!” at the thought of all that wasted water! No wonder that’s why they tend to look so healthy – NOT!
